RAPS and Pathway for Patient Health team up to bolster regulatory education

The Regulatory Affairs Professionals Society (RAPS) and Pathway for Patient Health have partnered to advance the preparedness of regulatory affairs professionals during an unparalleled time of rapid innovation and evolving expectations.

Now more than ever, the regulatory affairs professional must deftly navigate uncharted waters to bring lifesaving and life-improving medical products to patients around the world. These products must be safe and effective, meet intended use, and traverse global regulatory approvals to reach patients desperately in need of medical relief.

That’s why RAPS and Pathway for Patient Health joined forces, enabling regulatory affairs professionals to lead their organizations with confidence. Through Pathway’s Quality Science Education Program, global thought leaders teach the why and how of product, process and systems quality across the total product lifecycle. RAPS carries this understanding of quality science into foundational and advanced regulatory affairs certificates that prepare regulatory affairs professionals for every decision they must make.

“We are excited that together, RAPS and Pathway are supporting diverse learning needs across the professional continuum,” said Roya Zarrinahad, Director of eLearning at RAPS. “From students who are preparing to enter the life science industries, through experienced professionals who are making unprecedented regulatory decisions. RAPS’ Online University courses are the standard for online regulatory education, offering certificates and course bundles that allow regulatory professionals to customize their education to fit their needs. These courses provide experienced or mid-career professionals the chance to deepen their knowledge in specific regulatory topics, while offering early-career professionals a broad introduction to regulatory affairs.

Founded in 2018, Pathway for Patient Health is devoted to arming students with the critical thinking skills needed to make scientifically sound quality-based decisions in a world steeped with rapid technological innovation. Pathway’s Quality Science Education program is designed to accelerate the time in which new professionals reach their desired functioning level while reducing patients product and overall business risks. Additionally, the largest life science companies in the world are using Pathway’s job-specific and topic-specific quality education to support the on-going readiness of experienced professionals.

“This partnership between Pathway and RAPS is needed now, more than ever,” said Marla Phillips, CEO and President of Pathway for Patient Health. "Together, we bring the best of quality and regulatory affairs insight to support the advancement of innovative products through the global regulatory approval pathway with products that are right-first-time.”

RAPS and Pathway for Patient Health arm professionals with the why and how of what they need to do every day, so they can lead their organizations through the exciting scientific discoveries that will continue to advance population health.
