Mentorship Program and Pathway Hiring Platform

 

Pathway for Patient Health is excited to offer you TWO (2) opportunities through the Quality Science Education Program that can prepare you for meaningful careers. We hope you will carefully consider whether you would like to participate in each of these programs.

  1. The Mentorship Program. Please review the Mentorship Program Assignment details before opting-in to this program. If you cannot fulfill the requirements, you will damage the relationships we have with our industry volunteers.

    • Note: The deadline to opt-in is at the beginning of each semester, so check it out fast!

    • Important! You must upload your completed, THOROUGH, Self-Reflection in the Mentorship Opt-in Survey link below.

      • Do not start the process without completing the reflection FIRST. The Self-Reflection is located in the Mentorship Program Assignment.

      • If your Self-Reflection is not thorough, you will NOT be assigned a mentor this semester.

2. The Pathway Hiring Platform. Build your profile in the Pathway Hiring Platform to be considered for internship and employment opportunities with our Corporate Members. Please only opt-in if you are seeking opportunities since Pathway will pay $140 for you to have a user license. Click “Application Form” in the below image to apply.

Note: There are no opt-in deadlines, just timing to be considered for internships and jobs

  • Eligibility?

    • Once you are a member of the Hiring Platform, you are eligible for one year from your graduation date or until you become employed (whichever comes first). Please notify Pathway once you are employed! We want to celebrate your success and open your license to another student who is seeking opportunities.

  • How?

    • If you are not already a member of the Hiring Platform from previous semesters, Complete the Application Form (link is provided below)

    • Wait for approval

    • Create your login account (if you do not see an email within 2 business days with account creation information, please check your spam folder)

    • Once you access the platform, bookmark the URL so that you are able to access the hiring platform often.

    • In order to demonstrate professionalism, please keep your profile up to date!

  • Videos: Once you access the Hiring Platform, you will find 2 very brief videos describing how to use the platform in the column labeled “Students”

  • Why would I opt-in when I am part of Handshake and other platforms? This platform is reserved only for QSE students. In platforms like Handshake you are one in a million, and it would be impossible for companies to search for a student who has this unique education, that has been seen to shave 1-3 years off onboarding training.  This is a huge value to our Corporate Members.
